Pre-K Bilingual - "Sink or Float"
Let’s pretend that the weather forecast says that it is going to rain. If it rains for days where do you think all that water is going to go? The water is going to cover everything that we see - houses, cars, schools, roads, trees. Your group needs to design and build with recycled materials a craft that floats long enough to keep two plastic friends out of the water for two minutes. You will need to be able to use the words "sink" and "float" correctly in your presentation. Kindergarten - "Feeling Frozen" Last year when the temperature dropped we noticed that many people were not dressing appropriately for the cold. Teachers even noticed that the students at Churchill School weren’t dressing safely for the weather conditions. How can kids teach other kids how to dress safely when it is cold out? Check out our Weebly at Feeling Frozen IMPLEMENTED: Resurveyed older students, posted reminders about appropriate cold-weather wear |
